Thunderbird
Click
on "File" , "New", and "Account" or
click on "Create a new account" shown in the next picture.


Select
"Email account"
Click
Next

Fill
in your name and email address name@yourdomain.com
Click
Next

Select
POP for the type of incoming server
Fill
in pop.yourdomain.com
Click
Next

Fill
in name@yourdomain.com for the Incoming & Outgoing User Name.
Click
Next

Fill
in what you want to call this email account.
Click
Next

You
will get a summary, check your information, and if everything is ok press
finish.

Press
"Get mail"

You
are immediately asked for the password to your email account; fill in
your password.
You
can also choose if you want Thunderbird to remember the password by checking
the box.
Click
OK

Click
on "Tools" and "Account Settings"

Select
Outgoing Server (SMTP) on the left and make sure your outgoing mail server
is set to smtp.yourdomain.com
Check
"Use name and password" and type in your email name@yourdomain.com
Check
"No" for secure connection
Click
OK

If you now have filled everything in correctly, you should now be able
to send and receive email.
